What is your current position? Please include how long you've been in the position and an overview of what do.
I’m a Production Controller at Tobyhanna Army Depot. In my role, I keep track of project schedules and costs to make sure everything stays on target. If something’s running behind or going over budget, I step in to make adjustments and help get things back on track. I also work closely with different teams to spot potential issues early and keep projects moving smoothly. Overall, I make sure the work gets done efficiently and supports the Depot’s mission.
What would you say most motivates you to do the work you do? What are you most passionate about?
I’m most motivated by knowing that the work I do directly supports the warfighter. At the end of the day, everything we produce is meant to give them the tools they need to do their job safely and effectively. That sense of purpose—delivering a quality product that makes a real difference—keeps me focused and drives me to do my best.
Tell us a little about your background—where you grew up, your path after high school (college, trade school, or military), and what led you to pursue your career in NEPA.
I was born and raised in Blooming Grove, Pennsylvania. After high school, I moved to Lackawanna County and went straight into the workforce in the trades. I pursued my career in NEPA because there is a ton of opportunity if you are willing to work for it. It is home to me.
Were there any mentors or influential people who shaped who you are today? If so, how did they impact you?
My wife Robin – she has been in my corner for every adventure and wild-haired idea I have. She is always there to boost me up and she’s not afraid to give me the swift kick to get me back in gear, if needed.
How did you first get involved with Leadership Lackawanna, what was your experience like, and how have you stayed connected since graduation?
I had a great experience! We revitalized the Mercatili Segilia Park. I had a great team that was very driven and energetic! I have stayed with Leadership Lackawanna as a Construction Advisor since graduation.
